VA Disability Claims Appeal
Was your claim denied and you are interested in filing a VA Disability Claims Appeal? Call our Las Vegas veterans disability attorney today for a free consultation to learn your rights.
If your initial disability claim with the VA has been denied, you can go down to the VA, fill out some forms, and appeal it on your own. However, just because you tell them you don’t agree with their determination, it doesn’t mean you’re going to get them to change their mind. Having a second set of eyes on it is not what’s going to make the difference.
If your initial disability claim has been denied, you need to go to an attorney who handles veterans’ disability claims. They need to get your file, look at it and analyze what the basis is for that denial. If that denial is not legitimate or it was made because there was a piece of the puzzle that was missing, that attorney can go out and get that piece of the puzzle for you. Perhaps it was something that was missing from your records, a Buddy Statement, or some other piece of evidence to prove to the VA that your claim is legit, and that your entitled to the disability benefits that you’ve earned. That is the obligation of the attorney: to investigate, collect the evidence, and supply that to the VA so that you can collect your benefits.
