Mass Shooting in the City of Las Vegas Clark County

The mass shooting happened in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada. Can the city or county be held responsible? It is very unlikely that the city or county could be held responsible for this mass shooting. In order for the city or county to be responsible, it would be necessary to prove that the city or county failed to do something necessary to protect the people at the concert.

Once again, there is no indication that anyone working for Las Vegas or, Clark County knew about the shooters plan and intentions. From all reports, Las Vegas Metropolitan police responded quickly and appropriately.

There is no indication that the police failed to respond and take appropriate action which led to many more casualties and injuries. Therefore, it is very unlikely that the city of Las Vegas or Clark County would be held responsible.
